Teho

Teho makes his debut on Purified Records with his two-track “Meteor” EP – a stunning exploration of melodic techno’s emotional and sonic extremes. With a sound rooted in deep emotion and cinematic tension, the French producer delivers a masterclass in storytelling through sound.

Opening with the title track, “Meteor,” immediately immerses listeners in a world of swirling atmospheres and intricate textures. A standout synth top line cuts through the mix with elegance, rising over pulsing low-end and crisp percussion. Rich with dynamic contrasts and soaring melodic motifs, “Meteor” showcases Teho’s ability to create tension and release with surgical precision, blending sweeping harmonics with driving energy to form an expansive, cinematic journey.

On the flip side, “Deep Down” reveals a darker, grittier facet of Teho’s artistry. Anchored by raw basslines and taut melodic phrasing, the track explores a more underground dimension while retaining his signature emotional depth. Subtle layering and nuanced sound design add intensity as the track builds, delivering a club-ready cut that still carries his unmistakable melodic fingerprint.

Having carved out a unique place within the global electronic scene, Teho has earned recognition for his ability to balance powerful techno foundations with delicate, acoustic-inspired elements. With a catalogue that includes releases on respected imprints and three full-length albums, he continues to evolve as a visionary producer and live performer. With the “Meteor” EP, Teho brings his multifaceted style to Purified Records for the first time, offering a pair of tracks that channel emotion, precision, and dance floor power in equal measure. A compelling debut from one of France’s most innovative voices in melodic techno.

The “Meteor” EP artwork is an aerial photograph of a small glacial river in the Jostedal Valley of Norway, taken by Jan Erik Waider. A fine art photographer based in Hamburg, Germany, Jan is known for capturing abstract landscapes of the northern latitudes. With a focus on water, ice, and intricate natural patterns, his work reveals the beauty hidden in the subtle details of the world around us.

Nas

Nas, Ownership Over Clout, And The Blueprint For Generational Wealth

Shon Murdock

In hip-hop, wealth has often been measured in visible success, diamond chains, foreign cars, and sold-out arenas. But real power has always lived somewhere quieter, in ownership. Few artists have embodied that evolution more strategically than Nas, a lyricist who turned street poetry into boardroom leverage and transformed rap earnings into generational equity. From the […]

Solarstone And Susie Ledge Release New Single-“Haunt Me”

Tim Stark

Bold prediction perhaps, but we’ll say it anyway: “Haunt Me”‘s a one-and-done — the kind of record that locks you in on first listen and plays on loop in the mind, long after the speakers have gone quiet. In that instant catch, there’s a certain irony too, as, for the first time in his career, […]

Christian Burns Releases Darker Days (Original & Avenue One Mixes)

Tim Stark

From the forward-looking, Jan-hopeful lean of his most recent single “Fall To You,” Christian Burns moves onto the slightly less sanguine sounding “Darker Days.” After all, every lighter yin must result in some shadowy yang, right?? Well not necessarily, as “sounding” is very much the operative word here, as once again Christian delivers the electronic […]

Ciaran McAuley Announces New Album “Finding Me”

Tim Stark

Ironically perhaps, owes its existence to a period of profound creative doubt on Ciaran McAuley’s behalf. After years of forward momentum, the Irish artist found himself questioning not only his own direction, but his relationship with music itself. At that crossroads, rather than forcing (what now only had the appearance of) progress, he chose to […]
