Lost Frequencies latest banger “Don’t Forget (About Me),”’ is a radiant new release that brings a soulful edge to his unmistakable house sound. Sung by acclaimed British vocalist Clementine Douglas, whose voice sits at the heart of the record, the track pairs an emotive topline with a production that feels warm, uplifting and built for both intimate listening and the dancefloor.
“Don’t Forget (About Me)” opens with choral harmonies, Clementine Douglas’ soulful delivery immediately giving the track its sense of warmth. Flecks of percussion fall between the vocals like droplets before the beat takes hold, bringing a crisp, house-driven momentum underneath. From there, Lost Frequencies turns up the brightness; melodies stretch out, the rhythm becomes more pronounced and the production breaks open with an almost sunlit quality, while Douglas’ voice remains the defining thread running through it. As the energy rises, Lost Frequencies brings the record fully into his world, the result capturing the euphoric quality that has become central to Lost Frequencies’ music, with a depth and tenderness to the story.
Speaking on the release, Lost Frequencies said: “I really loved the feeling creating this track gave me from the beginning. It has this warmth and soul to it, but at the same time there’s an energy that really opens up as the track progresses. Clementine’s vocal was a huge part of bringing that feeling to life, she has such an incredible voice! I wanted to keep that emotion at the centre while still making something that feels uplifting and that I can’t wait to play out live. I’m really excited for everyone to finally hear it!”
