Blurring the lines between breakbeat, house, future garage, and ambient, viral producer and rising artist jigitz unveils his long-awaited debut EP (basically a mini-album) “all my exes live in brooklyn,” a bold, cinematic journey through love, memory, and movement, out now via R&R. The eight-track project opens with the dreamlike “leave,” whose ethereal tones and emotional vocal hooks flow seamlessly into viral favorite “tell you straight,” a breakout track with over 25 million organic streams on its original mix and a few additional millions on remixes from the likes of Louis The ChildEly OaksBadgerKillen., and INJILater, “dollaz n dollaz” ups the energy with sultry hip-hop vocals and bass-heavy festival flair, while closer “free myself” returns to introspective terrain, pairing euphonious melodies and rolling basslines with a nostalgic ache. Written and recorded during a cowboy-coded exile in Montana, alongside his collaborator – Aire Atlantica, and also jigitz‘s best friend and manager – Faizan Malik, “all my exes live in brooklyn” feels personal and meaningful. To celebrate the release, jigitz will bring his signature boiler room-style performances (often featuring ballerinas) across North America with an extensive tour, and additional meaningful stops along the way, like Lollapalooza. Check the full dates below for the city closest to you.

I quit my job and went straight to Montana with my manager – who’s also my best friend – and Aire Atlantica, somewhere none of us had ever been. We hit Best Buy, grabbed the biggest speakers we could find, then returned them after we finished the EP. Everything about emigrant Montana felt cowboy-coded: the rented F-150, the borrowed boots, dusty bar TVs flickering rodeos in the background while we made dance music. ‘all my exes live in brooklyn‘ riffs off the George Strait classic, a nod to the ’90s country I grew up on, even though most of my exes actually live in Manhattan – Brooklyn just sounded better. It was the first time I’ve worked with another producer, and it felt like Aire became part of the jigitz band for a moment. My manager cooked for us, played A&R, and got quietly sad when the Knicks lost.” – jigitz

A creative force who defies categorization, jigitz first debuted in 2018, then vanished—only to re-emerge five years later as a Billboard-charting, TikTok-viral phenomenon. Raised on ’90s country in Albuquerque and now based in New York Cityjigitz blends visual art, DIY ethos, and emotional storytelling into everything he touches. His visceral sets, often featuring ballerinas like Rockette Paige Litle, have become signature spectacles. With a background in the music industry as creative and an appetite for the unexpected (including guerrilla pop-ups at spots like LA‘s Fu’s Palace), jigitz is creating a universe all his own… one beat at a time.

Tim Stark

Setting the stage for the now fast approaching 2026 ‘ISOS’ season, Markus Schulz partners-up on a track with Dutch singer RYVM (Raffie van Maren). An early portal into what he has in store for this year’s opening ‘Awakening’ mix, it goes without saying that this ‘Dive’ is going deep.  On the track and how its […]

Driftmoon – High Wall

Tim Stark

‘High Wall’ unlocks the door to Driftmoon’s Sōnnux Music – the new recordings home that Juraj Klička, and Miikka Leinonen have built themselves.   Following the duo’s reunification in ‘23, when Miikka rejoined as a fulltime member, the pair have been on the march, not least with December’s extraordinary concept album, ‘Moonstruck’. Now, with Sōnnux, […]

Frankyeffe – Out Of This World EP

Tim Stark

Frankyeffe’s calling it an “EP”, though others might argue it’s closer to a full album. Either way, ‘Out Of This World’ makes one thing abundantly clear: when it comes to midnight studio oil and full-throated clubland firepower, Italy’s Francesco Fava’s not a man to do things by halves. Fresh from his ‘One More Night’ outing […]

Push – Known Universe

Tim Stark

This summer, Push returns to the album format with ‘Known Universe’ – the eighth longplayer in his eminent career. That ‘known universe’ specifically is the hardware-driven studio world that shaped his earliest work. The one that Mike Dierlickx painstakingly reassembled in order to reconnect with the tools, challenges and workflows of his original environment. In […]

Roger Shah – Magic Island – Music For Balearic People Vol. 13

Tim Stark

Having stopped to smell the roses for a few cycles, Roger Shah’s hallmark music compilation series returns to streams, stores and shelves in 2026. Onboard, naturally, is its usual, impeccable prog/trance/house blend of melodic-tropics, harmonic sonics, castaway chords, beachfront character and seaside atmosphere. Ready to do it to the summer, before the summer does it […]

Waking Up In A Northern Town by Christian Burns

Tim Stark

There’s been a long tradition of musicians from the north of England honouring their origins through their recordings – one that dates back as far as The Beatles’ penning ‘Penny Lane’. ‘North Country Boy’, ‘Hit The North’, ‘Life In A ‘Northern Town’, ‘The North At Its Heights’, ‘It’s Grim Up North’ – just a few […]
