Above & Beyond
ABove & Beyond

GRAMMY®-nominated electronic trio Above & Beyond today release their long-awaited fifth studio album, “Bigger Than All Of Us,” available via Anjunabeats. Their first full-length electronic record in seven years, the album is a sweeping 16-track journey through the band’s signature emotional songwriting, melodic depth, and connection-driven ethos. Written across continents, studios, and time zones, it features returning collaborators Zoë Johnston, Richard Bedford, and Justine Suissa, and Sam Burger of Opposite The Other, alongside new voices such as Malou, and Victoria Horn.

At its core, “Bigger Than All Of Us” is a love letter to the Anjunafamily, the global community that has grown with the band over the past 25 years. As the trio put it, “This album is us appreciating how amazing this thing we have is. It’s not about any of us individually. When we all work together to make something happen, something bigger happens.”

This communal spirit pulses through the title track, a sweeping anthem co-written with Justine Suissa and debuted in a powerful club mix at Coachella 2025. As Suissa reflected, “If I can be instrumental in change through a simple melody and a handful of words, then I am grateful beyond measure.” Watch the official music video here

“Quicksand (Don’t Go),” a soaring trance anthem featuring Zoë Johnston, debuted during the sold-out Group Therapy 600 show in Mexico. Johnston’s lyrics, which grapple with the pain of loss and the hope of connection, set the emotional tone for the record. “‘Quicksand’ is classic Zoë,” says the band. “We’ve been working with her for 22 years, and her voice is a reassuring signal to our fans that Above & Beyond are back.” Johnston returns on “Carry Me Home,” a euphoric, expansive track that debuted live at Ultra 2025 and quickly became a crowd favorite.

Further highlights include “Letting Go,” a haunting collaboration with German-Hawaiian artist Malou. “Working with Malou was a joy – her delivery is so honest and effortless,” says Jono Grant. Meanwhile, “Start A Fire” brings together a long-lost Paavo demo with Tony McGuinness’s lyrics and Richard Bedford’s soaring vocals. “I had this one lyric in a notebook for years: ‘There’s enough of you in me to start a fire.’ It found its home on Paavo’s track and became something really special,” recalls McGuinness. “It would have never been as good without Richard’s vocals,” adds Siljamäki. “That’s the power of a team.”

Another standout is “When You Believe,” featuring Victoria Horn, whose last A&B collaboration was the fan-favorite “Counting Down the Days.” “She’s one of those writers who just goes for it in the room,” says Grant. Longtime friend Dave Dresden (Gabriel & Dresden) played a pivotal role in shaping the album, helping the band whittle down an expansive catalog to the strongest core collection. His influence also reignited momentum for the long-shelved “Till I’m Home” and the frenetic drum & bass rework of “Blood From A Stone.”

To mark the release, Above & Beyond kick off their “Bigger Than All Of UsNorth American Amphitheater Tour next month. Running August 15 to October 4, the tour spans 13 cities, including New York, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, and San Diego, with a rotating support cast featuring Gabriel & Dresden, Marsh, CRi, HANA, Oliver Smith, Spencer Brown, Rezident, Qrion, Sultan + Shepard, and anamē. The shows will feature a brand-new stage design first unveiled at Coachella, complete with immersive lighting and a custom-built circular DJ booth. Tickets are available now, $1 from each ticket supports charitable initiatives via PLUS1 (mental health, environmental causes, and social connection). “This tour – and this stage – is a celebration of togetherness, brought to life in a new way,” say the band.

The album is available in a range of formats, including limited-edition colored vinyl and CDs. A brand-new merch collection featuring 11 limited-edition pieces, including apparel, accessories, and tour-themed designs, is also available on the Anjunastore.

With tracks honed through years of friendship, loss, reinvention, and inspiration, Bigger Than All Of Us is both a musical celebration of Above & Beyond’s storied past and a powerful signal of all that lies ahead.

“It’s not about fame, it’s about family,” says Siljamäki. “The Anjunafamily is the reason this record exists. When we all come together, something beautiful happens. That’s what this album is. It really is bigger than all of us.”

Nas, Ownership Over Clout, And The Blueprint For Generational Wealth

Shon Murdock

In hip-hop, wealth has often been measured in visible success, diamond chains, foreign cars, and sold-out arenas. But real power has always lived somewhere quieter, in ownership. Few artists have embodied that evolution more strategically than Nas, a lyricist who turned street poetry into boardroom leverage and transformed rap earnings into generational equity. From the […]

Solarstone And Susie Ledge Release New Single-“Haunt Me”

Tim Stark

Bold prediction perhaps, but we’ll say it anyway: “Haunt Me”‘s a one-and-done — the kind of record that locks you in on first listen and plays on loop in the mind, long after the speakers have gone quiet. In that instant catch, there’s a certain irony too, as, for the first time in his career, […]

Christian Burns Releases Darker Days (Original & Avenue One Mixes)

Tim Stark

From the forward-looking, Jan-hopeful lean of his most recent single “Fall To You,” Christian Burns moves onto the slightly less sanguine sounding “Darker Days.” After all, every lighter yin must result in some shadowy yang, right?? Well not necessarily, as “sounding” is very much the operative word here, as once again Christian delivers the electronic […]

Ciaran McAuley Announces New Album “Finding Me”

Tim Stark

Ironically perhaps, owes its existence to a period of profound creative doubt on Ciaran McAuley’s behalf. After years of forward momentum, the Irish artist found himself questioning not only his own direction, but his relationship with music itself. At that crossroads, rather than forcing (what now only had the appearance of) progress, he chose to […]
