Laidback Luke

Just in time for San Diego’s Comic-Con weekend, dance music legend Laidback Luke is reviving his famous party brand, SUPER YOU&ME, for one spectacular night on Friday, July 25

Super You&Me is more than merely a celebration of self-expression and change; it is renowned for its explosive energy, outlandish outfits, and fiercely inclusive attitude. Inviting everyone to accept their superhero alter ego or just be their true selves, it is a place where the dance floor turns into a secure space for creativity, empowerment, and connection.

This much-awaited evening includes an all-star supporting cast including breakout Act of God artist Linney, SPIN Magazine’s synth-pop sensation Robot Sunrise (also known as Danny Klein), and electrifying grandson of soul legend James Brown, Jason Brown. Last week, Laidback Luke and Linney released their new song “Gasoline,” a scorching Bass House hymn bursting with gritty energy, booming low-end, siren-laced synths, and Linney’s strong vocal presence. The release is yet another audacious stride in Lukes imaginative development, combining his famous bloghouse and electro roots with a raw, modern edge.

Against San Diego’s exuberant Comic-Con scene, this edition of SUPER YOU&ME promises a one-night-only event combining music, identity, and fantasy. Get your tickets right away; don’t pass on your opportunity to join the narrative.

Along with Epic Prague on July 12, Parookaville in Germany on July 19, and Tomorrowland Belgium on July 20, where he will also sponsor another SUPER YOU&ME takeover, laidback Luke is presently traveling across Europe and North America. With additional dates to be released shortly, he returns to the United States for performances at Exchange LA on July 26; the Medusa Beach Festival in Spain on August 8; and Creamfields UK on August 21

Come into your superhero alternate self. Super You & Me begins right now.

Nas

Nas, Ownership Over Clout, And The Blueprint For Generational Wealth

Shon Murdock

In hip-hop, wealth has often been measured in visible success, diamond chains, foreign cars, and sold-out arenas. But real power has always lived somewhere quieter, in ownership. Few artists have embodied that evolution more strategically than Nas, a lyricist who turned street poetry into boardroom leverage and transformed rap earnings into generational equity. From the […]

Solarstone And Susie Ledge Release New Single-“Haunt Me”

Tim Stark

Bold prediction perhaps, but we’ll say it anyway: “Haunt Me”‘s a one-and-done — the kind of record that locks you in on first listen and plays on loop in the mind, long after the speakers have gone quiet. In that instant catch, there’s a certain irony too, as, for the first time in his career, […]

Christian Burns

Christian Burns Releases Darker Days (Original & Avenue One Mixes)

Tim Stark

From the forward-looking, Jan-hopeful lean of his most recent single “Fall To You,” Christian Burns moves onto the slightly less sanguine sounding “Darker Days.” After all, every lighter yin must result in some shadowy yang, right?? Well not necessarily, as “sounding” is very much the operative word here, as once again Christian delivers the electronic […]

Ciaran McAuley

Ciaran McAuley Announces New Album “Finding Me”

Tim Stark

Ironically perhaps, owes its existence to a period of profound creative doubt on Ciaran McAuley’s behalf. After years of forward momentum, the Irish artist found himself questioning not only his own direction, but his relationship with music itself. At that crossroads, rather than forcing (what now only had the appearance of) progress, he chose to […]
