Fresh off of a recent hailed performance at Berghain, rising techno star Grace Dahl drops her newest EP “System Failure,” in collaboration with Rebecca Delle Piane and Raffaele Attanasio. On the EP’s title track, “System Failure” sets the tone and brings a bold futuristic sound with pounding kicks and rolling bass lines, followed by a remixed rendition by Raffaele Attanasio. Known for blending techno, electronic, and classic-contemporary influences, Raffaele brings a reimagined version, adding an uptempo twist to Dahl’s darker vision. Then, true to her signature techno sound, ‘Camille Fatale’ comes in hot with a hard-hitting intro, which descends into a distant and dreamy soundscape. Reminiscent of Dahl’s praised live sets, listeners are immediately transported into a rave, keeping the energy on the up as the song evolves.
