Mysterious house music icon Claptone is bringing his internationally acclaimed Ibiza residency, The Masquerade, to a brand-new home in 2025: Chinois, the island’s most stylish, intimate and inclusive nightlife destination.

After six years of residencies on the island, The Masquerade is evolving, embracing a fresh new chapter at Chinois, a venue renowned for its opulent décor, cutting-edge sound system, and unparalleled atmosphere. This exciting move promises an even more immersive and theatrical experience, where music, mystery, and magic collide in an extravagant celebration unlike any other.

What makes this transition even more special is that The Masquerade will now take over Saturdays—the prime night of the Ibiza clubbing calendar. As the weekend’s most anticipated event, Claptone’s signature masked affair will set the tone for an electrifying night of house music, captivating performances, and unforgettable moments.

Ibiza is a place of reinvention, and The Masquerade is all about creating an unforgettable world where people can lose themselves in the music. Club Chinois is the perfect setting for this next chapter—a venue that allows us to push the boundaries of intimacy and grandeur at the same time. And now, hosting it on Saturdays makes it even more special. I can’t wait to welcome you all into this new realm of sound and spectacle.” says Claptone.

Set in the heart of Ibiza’s Marina, Chinois is “the club of Ibiza,” an intimate and refreshing change from the super clubs. Its unique fusion of old-world Asian decadence, a state-of-the-art sound system, enticing cocktails, and extravagant visuals will provide the perfect backdrop for The Masquerade’s signature masked hedonism, deep house grooves, and surprise guest performances.

With a legacy of unforgettable moments, The Masquerade has continuously pushed boundaries, delivering world-exclusive back-to-backs from the likes of Purple Disco Machine, Diplo, Hugel, Wade, and Fatboy Slim. The brand has become a global phenomenon, exporting its unique Ibiza energy to sold-out shows in Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Istanbul, London, Miami and New York. Legends such as John Summit, MK, Hannah Wants, Chelina Manahutu, James Hype, Dom Dolla, Vintage Culture, Armand Van Helden, Meduza, Faithless, and Pete Tong have all graced the stage, cementing The Masquerade as one of the most in-demand parties worldwide.

As always, expect world-class DJs, mesmerizing visuals, and an atmosphere dripping in decadence, where guests are encouraged to embrace their alter egos and dance into the early hours beneath Claptone’s golden mask.

The Masquerade at Chinois will launch this summer, taking place every Saturday. Dates and lineups TBA, stay tuned for more details. Sign up for early ticket access here: https://laylo.com/chinois/m/Claptone

Shon Murdock

In hip-hop, wealth has often been measured in visible success, diamond chains, foreign cars, and sold-out arenas. But real power has always lived somewhere quieter, in ownership. Few artists have embodied that evolution more strategically than Nas, a lyricist who turned street poetry into boardroom leverage and transformed rap earnings into generational equity. From the […]

Solarstone And Susie Ledge Release New Single-“Haunt Me”

Tim Stark

Bold prediction perhaps, but we’ll say it anyway: “Haunt Me”‘s a one-and-done — the kind of record that locks you in on first listen and plays on loop in the mind, long after the speakers have gone quiet. In that instant catch, there’s a certain irony too, as, for the first time in his career, […]

Christian Burns Releases Darker Days (Original & Avenue One Mixes)

Tim Stark

From the forward-looking, Jan-hopeful lean of his most recent single “Fall To You,” Christian Burns moves onto the slightly less sanguine sounding “Darker Days.” After all, every lighter yin must result in some shadowy yang, right?? Well not necessarily, as “sounding” is very much the operative word here, as once again Christian delivers the electronic […]

Ciaran McAuley Announces New Album “Finding Me”

Tim Stark

Ironically perhaps, owes its existence to a period of profound creative doubt on Ciaran McAuley’s behalf. After years of forward momentum, the Irish artist found himself questioning not only his own direction, but his relationship with music itself. At that crossroads, rather than forcing (what now only had the appearance of) progress, he chose to […]
