Fresh off of a recent hailed performance at Berghain, rising techno star Grace Dahl drops her newest EP “System Failure,” in collaboration with Rebecca Delle Piane and Raffaele Attanasio. Dahl has been at the forefront of the thriving underground techno scene in Amsterdam over the past few years, and has gained recognition on the international stage. With unforgettable performances at some of the world’s most iconic venues, and her recent feature as one of Beatport’s Class of 2025 artists to watch, this is only the beginning for her career-defining year ahead. “System Failure” EP stands as a testament to her rising influence, featuring four electrifying tracks — two original productions and two remixes — each blending unique influences with consistent, high-calibre energy.

On the EP’s title track, “System Failure” sets the tone and brings a bold futuristic sound with pounding kicks and rolling bass lines, followed by a remixed rendition by Raffaele Attanasio. Known for blending techno, electronic, and classic-contemporary influences, Raffaele brings a reimagined version, adding an uptempo twist to Dahl’s darker vision. Then, true to her signature techno sound, ‘Camille Fatale’ comes in hot with a hard-hitting intro, which descends into a distant and dreamy soundscape. Reminiscent of Dahl’s praised live sets, listeners are immediately transported into a rave, keeping the energy on the up as the song evolves. Finally, bringing in her own twist, Rebecca Delle Piane cranks up the tempo on “Camille Fatale”’s remix with acid influences and rich layers of percussion.

The EP’s electric and deep, driving sound create an impressive balance between raw power and intricate production diversity. Grace Dahl’s innovative creation invites listeners to lose themselves in the music, while the remixes offer fresh interpretations that keep the energy dynamic and ever-evolving.
