Orbit DJ Retreats returns to Ibiza from September 28-October 3, 2025, offering immersive learning with world-class artist. After annual sold-out events since 2019, the flagship retreat continues to provide world-class mentorship and career-defining opportunities. Expanding globally, Orbit launches its first Australian edition in Byron Bay from August 24-29, 2025.

Orbit DJ Retreats offers an unparalleled experience for artists at all levels to refine their skills, learn from industry leaders, and gain invaluable mentorship. As an accelerator program with a proven track record, alumni have secured releases on labels like Gorgon City’s REALM, Yousef’s Circus Recordings, and Damian Lazarus’ Rebellion. Graduates have earned slots at top festivals and venues, including Hideout Croatia, Friendship Miami, Your Paradise Fiji, Ministry of Sound London, Pikes Ibiza, Academy LA, and Ivy Sydney.

The 2025 Ibiza line-up features production and DJ workshops led by Joe Goddard (Hot Chip), a versatile producer and DJ known for his acclaimed solo work and as a founding member of synth-pop group Hot Chip; Phil Hartnoll (Orbital), a UK rave pioneer and one-half of the legendary duo Orbital; and Sarah Story, a dynamic DJ, broadcaster, and BBC Radio 1 tastemaker who has quickly become a champion of underground electronic music, curating fresh talent and pushing forward-thinking sounds.

In Byron Bay, attendees will engage in one-on-one mentoring with hands-on workshops run by Soul Clap (Charles Levine), Yolanda Be Cool (Sweat It Out), Doorly, Paris (This Never Happened), GAWP (Toolroom/Dirtybird), Mo’ Funk (Pioneer DJ), and a very special surprise guest. Previous mentors have included industry legends such as Gorgon City, Todd Terry, Shadow Child, Junior Sanchez, Sam Divine, Nightmares on Wax, and Eli & Fur.

Orbit DJ Retreats covers technical training in Ableton, Logic Pro, and Pioneer DJ equipment, along with audience growth strategies, marketing, and PR insights. Participants receive in-depth mentorship from industry executives specialising in booking, touring, social media, and promotion. Wellness and mindfulness remain core to the program, incorporating yoga, meditation, and breathwork sessions to support long-term success.

Orbit DJ Retreats co-founder Doorly shares:

“The response to Orbit has been incredible. Seeing our alumni achieve success with respected labels and gigs around the world makes it all worthwhile. Ibiza will be bigger than ever, with a stellar lineup to inspire the next wave of electronic artists. Byron Bay marks a huge milestone, and we’re excited to bring this experience to Australia.”

Ibiza students will have the opportunity to perform at two major venues, with official announcements coming soon. Meanwhile, Byron Bay graduates will showcase their skills at The Beach Hotel, with select students earning slots at Elsewhere Gold Coast. With demand soaring, the Ibiza edition for October 2025 is already 50% sold out.

Nas

Shon Murdock

In hip-hop, wealth has often been measured in visible success, diamond chains, foreign cars, and sold-out arenas. But real power has always lived somewhere quieter, in ownership. Few artists have embodied that evolution more strategically than Nas, a lyricist who turned street poetry into boardroom leverage and transformed rap earnings into generational equity. From the […]

Solarstone And Susie Ledge Release New Single-“Haunt Me”

Tim Stark

Bold prediction perhaps, but we’ll say it anyway: “Haunt Me”‘s a one-and-done — the kind of record that locks you in on first listen and plays on loop in the mind, long after the speakers have gone quiet. In that instant catch, there’s a certain irony too, as, for the first time in his career, […]

Christian Burns Releases Darker Days (Original & Avenue One Mixes)

Tim Stark

From the forward-looking, Jan-hopeful lean of his most recent single “Fall To You,” Christian Burns moves onto the slightly less sanguine sounding “Darker Days.” After all, every lighter yin must result in some shadowy yang, right?? Well not necessarily, as “sounding” is very much the operative word here, as once again Christian delivers the electronic […]

Ciaran McAuley

Ciaran McAuley Announces New Album “Finding Me”

Tim Stark

Ironically perhaps, owes its existence to a period of profound creative doubt on Ciaran McAuley’s behalf. After years of forward momentum, the Irish artist found himself questioning not only his own direction, but his relationship with music itself. At that crossroads, rather than forcing (what now only had the appearance of) progress, he chose to […]
