Roger Sanchez

One of the most revered figures in the history of house music, the globally celebrated, Grammy-winning DJ, producer and label head Roger Sanchez today releases his new studio album “Spectrum” – his first in twenty years. A true icon whose work has shaped dancefloors across decades, Sanchez marks the moment with a record that has been years in the making, previewed by three singles: “Grinnin’” (with Fedde Le Grand), “Come My Way” and “Temptation” (with Low Steppa, featuring Ragdoll). Much of “Spectrum” was written during Sanchez‘s time in Shoreditch, a period that shaped the album’s UK summer sonic influences. Its tracks move across a full range of sounds – from driving club material and dancefloor cuts to more emotional, atmospheric moments – with lyrics drawn from his own personal experiences. The album brings together collaborators spanning multiple genres and nationalities, with contributions from Melanie CKele Le RocChico CastilloKelli-LeighCarnao BeatsDonae’O and more – a roster that matches the anticipation surrounding the record. A standout moment on the album, “How Do We Say Goodbye” was created with topline extraordinaire and ever in-demand collaborator Karen Harding, whose credits include work with MNEKArmand Van HeldenRudimentalWilkinsonand many more. Her soaring vocal brings both an irresistible hook and a touching sense of nostalgia, while Sanchez‘s production rises from a trance-like ambience into a powerful, climactic drop. In recent weeks, Sanchez has also stepped into the spotlight with a series of media moments, from a back-to-back set with TCTS for KISS to a television interview on Sunday Brunch

Alongside the digital release, “Spectrum” will be available from June 26 on red transparent triple-vinyl. Designed with both the dedicated collector and the working DJ in mind, the package is completed by an exclusive limited-edition signed artcard and a download code for an unreleased bonus track

“I’ve been working on this for the past six years, so it’s definitely a labour of love. During that time I got the chance to travel around the world and work with some amazing vocalists and songwriters to help me bring this project to life. I’ve got flavours from the UK, Spain, the US – all of this is part of the spectrum. This project is about music and frequencies and light: everything from the light to the soulful to the club-ready infrared, the emotionally-weighted ultraviolet. That’s what ‘Spectrum’ is all about for me.” – Roger Sanchez

Roger Sanchez is taking “Spectrum” on the road throughout the summer. His “Flower Power” residency at the iconic Pacha Ibiza is filled with special guests, from major house names to album collaborators and rising talents alike, while the wider schedule takes in major festivals across EuropeHacienda Classical sets in the UK, and appearances at leading clubs and parties across the continent.

Driftmoon – High Wall

Tim Stark

‘High Wall’ unlocks the door to Driftmoon’s Sōnnux Music – the new recordings home that Juraj Klička, and Miikka Leinonen have built themselves.   Following the duo’s reunification in ‘23, when Miikka rejoined as a fulltime member, the pair have been on the march, not least with December’s extraordinary concept album, ‘Moonstruck’. Now, with Sōnnux, […]

Frankyeffe – Out Of This World EP

Tim Stark

Frankyeffe’s calling it an “EP”, though others might argue it’s closer to a full album. Either way, ‘Out Of This World’ makes one thing abundantly clear: when it comes to midnight studio oil and full-throated clubland firepower, Italy’s Francesco Fava’s not a man to do things by halves. Fresh from his ‘One More Night’ outing […]

Push – Known Universe

Tim Stark

This summer, Push returns to the album format with ‘Known Universe’ – the eighth longplayer in his eminent career. That ‘known universe’ specifically is the hardware-driven studio world that shaped his earliest work. The one that Mike Dierlickx painstakingly reassembled in order to reconnect with the tools, challenges and workflows of his original environment. In […]

Roger Shah – Magic Island – Music For Balearic People Vol. 13

Tim Stark

Having stopped to smell the roses for a few cycles, Roger Shah’s hallmark music compilation series returns to streams, stores and shelves in 2026. Onboard, naturally, is its usual, impeccable prog/trance/house blend of melodic-tropics, harmonic sonics, castaway chords, beachfront character and seaside atmosphere. Ready to do it to the summer, before the summer does it […]

Waking Up In A Northern Town by Christian Burns

Tim Stark

There’s been a long tradition of musicians from the north of England honouring their origins through their recordings – one that dates back as far as The Beatles’ penning ‘Penny Lane’. ‘North Country Boy’, ‘Hit The North’, ‘Life In A ‘Northern Town’, ‘The North At Its Heights’, ‘It’s Grim Up North’ – just a few […]
