Dutch powerhouse Maddix teams up with legendary duo Potatoheadz to reawaken their iconic 2001 rave anthem, “Mix The Master,” delivering a thunderous, high-octane rework built for the world’s biggest stages.

Known for his explosive fusion of big-room techno and hard-edged rave energy, Maddix transforms this early-2000s classic into a modern festival weapon, seamlessly blending the nostalgia of the original with his cutting-edge production.

“I love old-school dance music and draw inspiration from many tracks from the 1990s and 2000s. When I heard ‘Mix The Master’ I instantly knew I wanted to do something with this,” Maddix says. “I kept it true to the original as much as possible to capture that old-school vibe in a modern twist. It now sounds fresh for the dance floor again, and honestly, it gets the crowd going crazy every time!”

The release follows a career-defining run for Maddix, who has quickly become one of the most sought-after names in dance music. His recent collaboration with Hardwell on “Rave Till My Grave” became a global moment, amassing millions of streams and lighting up main stages worldwide, while showcasing the power of his ever-evolving sound. Riding the wave of his All Day Rave movement – a fan-fueled celebration of unrelenting energy, raw connection, and marathon sets – Maddix continues to push the boundaries of modern rave culture and unite a new generation of dance music lovers.

Maddix’s genre-bending approach – bridging techno, big-room, and hard dance – has made him a mainstay on festival mainstages and underground dancefloors alike, earning support from tastemakers across the spectrum, from Amelie Lens and Deborah De Luca to Hi-Lo and Reinier Zonneveld. With “Mix The Master,” he builds on this momentum, fusing past and present into a seismic new anthem that captures the energy of today’s rave generation while paying homage to the spirit of the early 2000s.

Shon Murdock

In hip-hop, wealth has often been measured in visible success, diamond chains, foreign cars, and sold-out arenas. But real power has always lived somewhere quieter, in ownership. Few artists have embodied that evolution more strategically than Nas, a lyricist who turned street poetry into boardroom leverage and transformed rap earnings into generational equity. From the […]

Solarstone And Susie Ledge Release New Single-“Haunt Me”

Tim Stark

Bold prediction perhaps, but we’ll say it anyway: “Haunt Me”‘s a one-and-done — the kind of record that locks you in on first listen and plays on loop in the mind, long after the speakers have gone quiet. In that instant catch, there’s a certain irony too, as, for the first time in his career, […]

Christian Burns Releases Darker Days (Original & Avenue One Mixes)

Tim Stark

From the forward-looking, Jan-hopeful lean of his most recent single “Fall To You,” Christian Burns moves onto the slightly less sanguine sounding “Darker Days.” After all, every lighter yin must result in some shadowy yang, right?? Well not necessarily, as “sounding” is very much the operative word here, as once again Christian delivers the electronic […]

Ciaran McAuley Announces New Album “Finding Me”

Tim Stark

Ironically perhaps, owes its existence to a period of profound creative doubt on Ciaran McAuley’s behalf. After years of forward momentum, the Irish artist found himself questioning not only his own direction, but his relationship with music itself. At that crossroads, rather than forcing (what now only had the appearance of) progress, he chose to […]
