Jean-Michel Jarre

Legendary French composer, producer, innovator, and visionary Jean-Michel Jarre will make his Ibiza debut this summer, with an exclusive live performance at the iconic Amnesia nightclub.

Recognized as one of the world’s most accomplished artists, Jean-Michel Jarre has been a pioneering figurehead for a futuristic representation of electronic music for over 50 years. With 22 studio albums and over 85 million worldwide sales to date, his music and performances featuring boundary-pushing production sit at the intersection of technology and innovation.

“Amnesia is a trip — an escape from time. No past, no future, just the intensity of the moment. That space of freedom is where my music has always lived. I’m thrilled to do my very first Ibiza concert at Amnesia to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the club.”– Jean-Michel Jarre

Famed for record-breaking concerts in front of audiences in their millions, Jean-Michel Jarre has always put technology at the heart of his shows; a pioneer of multi-channel audio, VR, and even the metaverse, his immersive productions are typically hosted by prestigious venues including the Eiffel Tower, Pompei, the Great Pyramids of Egypt, the Sahara Desert, the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square in China, Masada, and the Dead Sea. His Ibiza debut will therefore be a rare opportunity to experience the French visionary in an intimate venue as he brings his unique vision to Amnesia’s legendary Terrace.

Beforehand, guests will experience a live performance from Berlin-based artist Joplyn. Blending ethereal vocals, melodic depth and cinematic production, her immersive sets channel a contemporary electronic influence, with the live performance sitting as a complimentary representation of Jean-Michel Jarre’s enduring impact on electronic music in a live space.

The final support comes in the form of a DJ set by Les Schmitz. A DJ deeply embedded in the island’s sonic evolution and nightlife culture and Amnesia resident since 2003, this symbolic moment will represent his innate understanding of the venue’s acoustics and emotional temperature as he guides the audience into the night.

The one-off event takes place during Amnesia’s 50th anniversary year – a tangible reminder that the venue which has spent five decades at the forefront of electronic music can still surprise and bring new experiences to the island. It’s an anniversary that carries clear message – an invitation to dance from a club that has shaped lives, relationships, and careers. A place powered by a legacy that has defined dance culture across generations.

As a constant in the island’s ever-evolving landscape, Amnesia has remained focused on the room, the music, and the people inside it. Its legacy a defining proof that feeling lasts. Everything else fades as noise. A meeting point for scenes, cultures, and identities, history written in sound. Amnesia exists to be lost in. To disappear. To let go. The dancefloor as equal ground.

Setting the stage for the now fast approaching 2026 ‘ISOS’ season, Markus Schulz partners-up on a track with Dutch singer RYVM (Raffie van Maren). An early portal into what he has in store for this year’s opening ‘Awakening’ mix, it goes without saying that this ‘Dive’ is going deep.  On the track and how its […]

Driftmoon – High Wall

Tim Stark

‘High Wall’ unlocks the door to Driftmoon’s Sōnnux Music – the new recordings home that Juraj Klička, and Miikka Leinonen have built themselves.   Following the duo’s reunification in ‘23, when Miikka rejoined as a fulltime member, the pair have been on the march, not least with December’s extraordinary concept album, ‘Moonstruck’. Now, with Sōnnux, […]

Frankyeffe – Out Of This World EP

Tim Stark

Frankyeffe’s calling it an “EP”, though others might argue it’s closer to a full album. Either way, ‘Out Of This World’ makes one thing abundantly clear: when it comes to midnight studio oil and full-throated clubland firepower, Italy’s Francesco Fava’s not a man to do things by halves. Fresh from his ‘One More Night’ outing […]

Push – Known Universe

Tim Stark

This summer, Push returns to the album format with ‘Known Universe’ – the eighth longplayer in his eminent career. That ‘known universe’ specifically is the hardware-driven studio world that shaped his earliest work. The one that Mike Dierlickx painstakingly reassembled in order to reconnect with the tools, challenges and workflows of his original environment. In […]

Roger Shah – Magic Island – Music For Balearic People Vol. 13

Tim Stark

Having stopped to smell the roses for a few cycles, Roger Shah’s hallmark music compilation series returns to streams, stores and shelves in 2026. Onboard, naturally, is its usual, impeccable prog/trance/house blend of melodic-tropics, harmonic sonics, castaway chords, beachfront character and seaside atmosphere. Ready to do it to the summer, before the summer does it […]

Waking Up In A Northern Town by Christian Burns

Tim Stark

There’s been a long tradition of musicians from the north of England honouring their origins through their recordings – one that dates back as far as The Beatles’ penning ‘Penny Lane’. ‘North Country Boy’, ‘Hit The North’, ‘Life In A ‘Northern Town’, ‘The North At Its Heights’, ‘It’s Grim Up North’ – just a few […]
