Ely Oaks

Following a breakout 2025 that saw the Austrian-born and Berlin-based artist Ely Oaks level up from rising name to bona fide streaming force – led by the runaway success of “Running Around” (now nearing 150 million Spotify streams) and the follow-up hit “Borderline” (already past 130 million on the same platform) – he opens 2026 in no uncertain terms with his biggest moment yet: the official Ely Oaks remix for Taylor Swift‘s recent single “Opalite,” released via Republic Records/Universal Music Group. Landing on Spotify globally February 20, the remix also perfectly syncs with Ely‘s tour calendar, arriving as he kicks off his North American tour on February 27 – a perfectly timed one-two that launches his next chapter. He closed out last year with a string of high-profile moves, including his remix of James Hype‘s “Waterfalls” and a headline collaboration with Elle King on “Ex’s & Oh’s,” and he’s carried that momentum straight into an international run: Ely spent the first half of February in Australia, bringing his high-impact sets to Dreamstate festivals and other notable Australian venues across AdelaideSydneyMelbourne, and Brisbane. Now, with tour dates lined up across key markets and already selling out, including BostonAtlantaLos AngelesDenverVancouverCalgary, and more to follow, Ely Oaks is stepping into 2026 with global pace – and a release moment built to meet it.

The moment you get the task to remix a Taylor Swift single is very special. Firstly it’s a huge honor, secondly you sit there and realise that this needs to be perfect. It’s easy to overthink here, I threw away a lot of the initial ideas. It’s a very big challenge to add something to a song that’s already so great. It took a few tries to finally get something that actually felt like a spark to me. Extremely happy that the end product made it to the official EP and so excited to hear what all of the fans think about it!” – Ely Oaks

Born in the ski resort town of KitzbühelAustria, and now based in BerlinEly Oaks has emerged as one of dance music’s fastest-rising names. Known for his fusion of commercial dance accessibility and underground energy, Ely has cultivated a global fanbase with close to 10 millionmonthly Spotify listeners and over 1 million followers across TikTok and Instagram. In 2024, TikTok crowned him the #1 most-followed DJ in Germany, underscoring his ability to connect with fans both online and on stage. Ely‘s career catapulted into the spotlight with his viral single “Running Around,” now at over 150 million streams and featured in Spotify’s Songs of Summer 2025 campaign. His collaborative hit “Borderline” with LAVINIA climbed to #35 on the UK Singles Chart and #17 on the German Singles Chart, solidifying his crossover appeal. Other standout releases include high-profile collaborations with Alok (“Tsunami“) and Timmy Trumpet(“Sound Of Da Police“), alongside official remixes for heavyweights like MarshmelloNate Dogg, and most recently, James Hype. Shaped by an eclectic musical journey – from early obsessions with indie band Foals, to a teenage metalcore phase centered around Bring Me The Horizon, to being kicked off from a school band, to discovering EDM through a Skrillex remix – Ely built his sound on diverse foundations. After early experiments in dubstep and a stint with the touring duo ZOOTAHEly launched his solo project in 2021. A viral remix of Florence + The Machine‘s “Spectrum (Say My Name)” proved a breakthrough moment, setting the stage for his rise as a solo artist. Beyond the studio, Ely has brought his energetic sets to iconic stages including TomorrowlandUltra AustraliaUshuaïa Ibiza, and EDC Orlando. His ability to craft hard-hitting productions that thrive both on streaming platforms and in live settings cements him as a rare dual force in today’s dance landscape. From meme-driven TikTok virality, to singing to German indie label JINX Music, to heavyweight festival slots, Ely Oaks represents the next wave of global dance music as an artist who turns personal history, eclectic influences, and online creativity into a flourishing career.

Nas

Nas, Ownership Over Clout, And The Blueprint For Generational Wealth

Shon Murdock

In hip-hop, wealth has often been measured in visible success, diamond chains, foreign cars, and sold-out arenas. But real power has always lived somewhere quieter, in ownership. Few artists have embodied that evolution more strategically than Nas, a lyricist who turned street poetry into boardroom leverage and transformed rap earnings into generational equity. From the […]

Solarstone And Susie Ledge Release New Single-“Haunt Me”

Tim Stark

Bold prediction perhaps, but we’ll say it anyway: “Haunt Me”‘s a one-and-done — the kind of record that locks you in on first listen and plays on loop in the mind, long after the speakers have gone quiet. In that instant catch, there’s a certain irony too, as, for the first time in his career, […]

Christian Burns Releases Darker Days (Original & Avenue One Mixes)

Tim Stark

From the forward-looking, Jan-hopeful lean of his most recent single “Fall To You,” Christian Burns moves onto the slightly less sanguine sounding “Darker Days.” After all, every lighter yin must result in some shadowy yang, right?? Well not necessarily, as “sounding” is very much the operative word here, as once again Christian delivers the electronic […]

Ciaran McAuley

Ciaran McAuley Announces New Album “Finding Me”

Tim Stark

Ironically perhaps, owes its existence to a period of profound creative doubt on Ciaran McAuley’s behalf. After years of forward momentum, the Irish artist found himself questioning not only his own direction, but his relationship with music itself. At that crossroads, rather than forcing (what now only had the appearance of) progress, he chose to […]
