Dan Sushi

Dan Sushi is a veteran artist on Purified Records roster and has returned with his two-track “Horizon” EP, which is a strong mix of old-fashioned textures, emotional depth, and club-ready dynamics that shows how much he has grown as a producer.

Opening with the title track, “Horizon” invites listeners into a fantastical environment where gritty rhythmic force meets airy melodies and ethereal pads. The Swiss producer creates a hypnotic experience that mixes retro, rave-inspired synth lines with a sleek, contemporary style to blur the border between past and present. Smoothly unfolding, the track layers complex percussion and driving low-end under a brilliant melodic lead that gives the composition its joyful boost.

Turning to “Nostalgia,” the EP moves further into filmic territory. Sweeping melodies and changing textures lead the listener across a soundscape thats both intimate and immersive; a strong bass line and finely grooved percussion provide the base. Before building back into a rhythm-driven crescendo ready for late-night dance floors, a peaceful breakdown brings forth natural beauty and emotional stillness.

Dan Sushi is famous for combining fragile emotion with strong sonic design, and he keeps working on his sound with every new song. His creative clarity is shown in the “Horizon” EP, which strikes a balance between the intensity of underground club music and a melodic sensibility that connects with people far beyond the dance floor.
