Returning to Purified Records after his “Halo” EP earlier this year, Jack Emery collaborates with rising talent Harmonee for their first track, “When I’m With You.” This song combines Jack’s melodic style with Harmonee’s fresh take, marking a significant moment for both artists and Harmonee’s debut on the label.
“When I’m With You” is a graceful and emotional track featuring smooth chords and warm sounds, along with a relaxing vocal sample. It has subtle grooves and rich textures, building into a melodic climax that is both personal and suitable for dancing.
The artwork for “When I’m With You” shows a free diver in Tonga, taken by marine photographer Brooke Pyke. Tonga’s marine life is vital for Pacific biodiversity, and groups like the Vava’u Environmental Protection Association work to protect it.
