EMW Presents has announced their inaugural Why Not Now?, a two-night event taking place over Memorial Day Weekend, May 23–24, 2026. Set against the towering industrial monoliths and the connected corridors that create Industry City’s open-air courtyards, Why Not Now? will amplify Brooklyn’s raw architectural landscape with a vibrant technicolor energy curated by an “in-the-moment” level of new modern sound. Within this expansive urban sanctuary, the first-year boutique-style festival is designed as a living vision of the next wave of electronic music and creative culture.
A Global Meets Local Lineup
The 2026 lineup features a prestigious mosaic of global visionaries and local pioneers across two main stages:
- Saturday, May 23: Headlined by North London house titans Gorgon City, the first day features high-energy performances from Italian tech-house sensation GENESI, NYC underground staple Linska, rising star TOBEHONEST, and the genre-blurring Dreya V.
- Sunday, May 24: The weekend culminates with a legendary DJ set by Drum & Bass royalty Chase & Status. A major highlight of the evening includes a massive, North America debut Joy (Anonymous) B2B MPH performance, alongside sets from UK garage pioneer Flava D and Toronto-born experimentalist Bambii.
