On Saturday, June 21, 2025, Audio Obscura will host a once-in-a-lifetime Highway Rave on the roads of Amsterdam’s A10 highway as part of the city’s official 750th anniversary celebrations.

Audio Obscura – the only dance music brand to be given one of the main music sites in Festival op the Ring – will take over the section of A10 by RAI Metro Station. Against this raw, concrete backdrop they’ll produce a show unlike anything ever seen or experienced before.

The free, ticketed event is part of the “Festival op the Ring,” a 17 km-long spectacular that will see the A10 closed to traffic for a single day as tens of thousands of people converge to celebrate 750 years of Amsterdam’s history and culture.

Pioneers of Amsterdam’s electronic music scene – arguably the most revered in the world – Audio Obscura have carved out a fearsome reputation for groundbreaking shows at unique locations like Concertgebouw, Amsterdam Central Station, De Loft in the A’DAM Toren and the Rijksmuseum bicycle passage.

Now they bring their collective energy, expertise and ambition to the A10, creating an unmissable event as a gift to honour Amsterdam’s 750th birthday. Expect a high-energy rave with 9 hours of very special artists curating explosive back-to-back sets for an electronic music riot that will never be witnessed again in our lifetime.

HIGHWAY RAVE MADE POSSIBLE BY COLLABORATION

The proud main partner of the Audio Obscura Highway Rave is electrifying car brand CUPRA, actively supporting and promoting music culture through its CUPRA Music initiative.

To keep Highway Rave Op De Ring a free event, CUPRA and several other generous partners have contributed to making this historic moment a reality.

LIMITED-EDITION TEE

limited-edition t-shirt will be released, born out of a music-rooted collaboration between Audio Obscura and Applied Art Forms — the Amsterdam-based fashion label founded by Coldplay bassist Guy Berryman.

All proceeds from this unique, numbered series, priced at €75 each, will go directly toward supporting the event.

ONE FOR THE UNDERGROUND HISTORY BOOKS

As part of the wider Festival op de Ring, Audio Obscura proudly represents the underground electronic music scene, holding a premium location on the A10 Zuid (entrance S109) for this definitive, once-in-a-lifetime cultural moment. Nas

Nas, Ownership Over Clout, And The Blueprint For Generational Wealth

Shon Murdock

In hip-hop, wealth has often been measured in visible success, diamond chains, foreign cars, and sold-out arenas. But real power has always lived somewhere quieter, in ownership. Few artists have embodied that evolution more strategically than Nas, a lyricist who turned street poetry into boardroom leverage and transformed rap earnings into generational equity. From the […]

Solarstone And Susie Ledge Release New Single-“Haunt Me”

Tim Stark

Bold prediction perhaps, but we’ll say it anyway: “Haunt Me”‘s a one-and-done — the kind of record that locks you in on first listen and plays on loop in the mind, long after the speakers have gone quiet. In that instant catch, there’s a certain irony too, as, for the first time in his career, […]

Christian Burns Releases Darker Days (Original & Avenue One Mixes)

Tim Stark

From the forward-looking, Jan-hopeful lean of his most recent single “Fall To You,” Christian Burns moves onto the slightly less sanguine sounding “Darker Days.” After all, every lighter yin must result in some shadowy yang, right?? Well not necessarily, as “sounding” is very much the operative word here, as once again Christian delivers the electronic […]

Ciaran McAuley Announces New Album “Finding Me”

Tim Stark

Ironically perhaps, owes its existence to a period of profound creative doubt on Ciaran McAuley’s behalf. After years of forward momentum, the Irish artist found himself questioning not only his own direction, but his relationship with music itself. At that crossroads, rather than forcing (what now only had the appearance of) progress, he chose to […]
