Amsterdam Dance Event looks back on record breaking edition and announces dates for 30 year anniversary in 2026
The dates are set: October 21 – 25, 2026

This year’s program highlighted a rich spectrum of electronic music subgenres, live performances, and cultural crossovers across the Festival and Arts & Culture programs, emphasising an offering that becomes more diverse and inclusive each year. Standout events included a wide variety of ADE Opening Specials throughout the city, the “black queer church” dubbed PRAISE by Honey Dijon x Audio Obscura at Nieuwe Kerk, large-scale experiences like Klangkuenstler at Ziggo Dome and Awakenings at their new SugarFactory base, all the way to the opposite end of the spectrum with events at SkateCafe, Garage Noord, RAUM, Klaproos, Tilla Tec, Studio Wieman, Lofi, De Bajes, and much more.

The 2025 edition of ADE has come to an end, hosting nearly 3,500 artists at over 1,200 events and initiatives taking place in over 300 locations across the city. The organization welcomed a record number of 600,000 visitors, drawing audiences from Amsterdam and the wider Netherlands, alongside visitors from around the world.

New upgrades throughout ADE’s conference, with the added Pro venue Rosewood and the move of ADE Lab to Westergas, were hugely successful with new networking opportunities and programming at Pro, and an entirely new immersive experience for the next generation at Lab. The conference showcased high profile artists, founders, and business representatives – including Skepta, KI/KI, Eris Drew, Chris Stussy, TxC, ANNA, Chris Liebing, alongside Google DeepMind, Epic Games, SoundCloud, Spotify, COLORSxSTUDIOS, Helix Records, Sony Music, Tomorrowland Brasil and many more.

1996 – 2026: 30 Years of Driving Electronic Music Forward

Over the past three decades, ADE has grown to become the most influential breeding ground for electronic music; building the framework that helped a new genre to be recognised worldwide as an art form and a thriving business, into what is now an immense global industry. For its 30 Year anniversary, the organization will unveil various specials, initiatives and events in connection to the celebrations throughout the coming months.

Nas

Nas, Ownership Over Clout, And The Blueprint For Generational Wealth

Shon Murdock

In hip-hop, wealth has often been measured in visible success, diamond chains, foreign cars, and sold-out arenas. But real power has always lived somewhere quieter, in ownership. Few artists have embodied that evolution more strategically than Nas, a lyricist who turned street poetry into boardroom leverage and transformed rap earnings into generational equity. From the […]

Solarstone And Susie Ledge Release New Single-“Haunt Me”

Tim Stark

Bold prediction perhaps, but we’ll say it anyway: “Haunt Me”‘s a one-and-done — the kind of record that locks you in on first listen and plays on loop in the mind, long after the speakers have gone quiet. In that instant catch, there’s a certain irony too, as, for the first time in his career, […]

Christian Burns

Christian Burns Releases Darker Days (Original & Avenue One Mixes)

Tim Stark

From the forward-looking, Jan-hopeful lean of his most recent single “Fall To You,” Christian Burns moves onto the slightly less sanguine sounding “Darker Days.” After all, every lighter yin must result in some shadowy yang, right?? Well not necessarily, as “sounding” is very much the operative word here, as once again Christian delivers the electronic […]

Ciaran McAuley

Ciaran McAuley Announces New Album “Finding Me”

Tim Stark

Ironically perhaps, owes its existence to a period of profound creative doubt on Ciaran McAuley’s behalf. After years of forward momentum, the Irish artist found himself questioning not only his own direction, but his relationship with music itself. At that crossroads, rather than forcing (what now only had the appearance of) progress, he chose to […]
