HALIENE & Ilan Bluestone Release New Single “Eclipsed By You”

Tim Stark

It is a rare moment when two powerhouse artists unite for their first collaboration—rarer still when it marks a defining return. Some partnerships are so pivotal they demand once-in-a-lifetime lyrics—words that capture them, regardless of how difficult those lived experiences may be to transcribe. Such is the case for “Eclipsed By You” — the first artistic coming-together […]

Christian Burns & Little Foot Drop New Single “I Will Follow”

Tim Stark

Christian Burns hasn’t taken his foot off the gas this year, and in the run up to the spiritual (and actual!) successor to his dazzling “Love Songs From Suburbia” LP, nor is he likely to!  That acceleration has already given us the naturally elevating “Fall To You” and the unexpectedly optimistic, against-title-type, “Darker Days.” Now, to pull off a perfect trifecta, he’s brought […]

The fierce ‘n’ firestartin’ “Future Fall” is on final club approach, ready and set to further bait the floor’s breath for Push’s eighth longform. Urged on by its […]

Eric B. & Rakim

Rakim’s “Paid In Full” Enters the Grammy Hall of Fame After 40 Years!

bs-supera

For four decades, Rakim existed in a category few artists ever reach. He was the rapper other rappers studied. The blueprint behind generations of lyricists. The artist many consider the greatest MC to ever touch a microphone. Yet somehow, through all of hip hop’s evolution, awards, ceremonies and industry celebrations, Rakim had never received a […]
