Bella Renee

Rising musician, producer, multi-instrumentalist, DJ, and lyricist Bella Renee does it all. With experimental and creatively heavy- hitting bass intertwined perfectly by her sincere and passionate words, Bella has an eye and ear for magnetic music that combines the gripping sounds of sultry yet strong indie vocals.

Having more than 50+ million Spotify streams during the course of her project’s release in 2021, Bella Renee has broken into the EDM scene with festival performances at EDC, Beyond Wonderland, Goldrush, Countdown NYE, and Decadence. She continues to be featured by major Dance Music labels including Dim Mak, Monstercat, Bassrush, Ophelia Records, Heaven Sent, and Night Bass. With every song painstakingly created to investigate the depths of emotion and human experience, Bella’s songs show her limitless inventiveness.

Released on July 3 on Dim Mak, Bella Renee’s “NOISE & THE THRILL” EP offers five Drum & Bass songs headlined by “Till It Breaks,” with strong vocals, clear percussion, and a gritty bassline. More than just a sound experience, the EP is a raw, unfiltered voyage through the emotional center of the emerging artists’ lives, each track a snapshot of crucial moments, hard facts, and deep introspection.

“This EP is a collection of core memories, how they impacted me emotionally, how I learned to respond to them,” Bella shares. “It’s a testament to human emotion, and I am baring myself on my sleeves in order to connect with my listeners and fans in an intimate way.”

The opening track, “Till It Breaks,” explores the pain of internal and external strain, an aching meditation on boundaries and emotional breaking points. “It’s a reminder that if we push ourselves far enough, we do break. How far can we bend this before it breaks is a reflection towards my inner self… My dad sings in the background of this song, and it’s the one that really resonates with me the deepest.”

“Jaded,” the previously released single off the EP, navigates the complex relationship between ambition and isolation. Bella describes it as “being avoidant in new connections caused by my hyperfocus in my career… I shine light on the push and pull of how I feel navigating new connections.”

“Reverie” is a potent reflection on Bella’s music career. It is a darker, more spiritual track that captures both the disillusionment and drive of working in the industry. “It is a response to everyone that has ever doubted me… to myself whenever I feel like giving up… It is ugly, but it is a deep celestial light work.”

“Mirage” challenges trauma-born emotional reflexes, spotlighting Bella’s growth in emotional intelligence and restraint. “It’s about seeing through people and holding off on the emotional reactivity responses formed through trauma and life experience.”

Rounding out the project is “Live Wire,” a track that unpacks anxious attachment and the illusion of connection. “Sometimes when we haven’t healed… we attach ourselves to people or things who bring us a temporary life force energy. The older I get, the more I realize how important it is to detach… Nothing in this universe is permanent.”

Nas

Nas, Ownership Over Clout, And The Blueprint For Generational Wealth

Shon Murdock

In hip-hop, wealth has often been measured in visible success, diamond chains, foreign cars, and sold-out arenas. But real power has always lived somewhere quieter, in ownership. Few artists have embodied that evolution more strategically than Nas, a lyricist who turned street poetry into boardroom leverage and transformed rap earnings into generational equity. From the […]

Solarstone And Susie Ledge Release New Single-“Haunt Me”

Tim Stark

Bold prediction perhaps, but we’ll say it anyway: “Haunt Me”‘s a one-and-done — the kind of record that locks you in on first listen and plays on loop in the mind, long after the speakers have gone quiet. In that instant catch, there’s a certain irony too, as, for the first time in his career, […]

Christian Burns Releases Darker Days (Original & Avenue One Mixes)

Tim Stark

From the forward-looking, Jan-hopeful lean of his most recent single “Fall To You,” Christian Burns moves onto the slightly less sanguine sounding “Darker Days.” After all, every lighter yin must result in some shadowy yang, right?? Well not necessarily, as “sounding” is very much the operative word here, as once again Christian delivers the electronic […]

Ciaran McAuley Announces New Album “Finding Me”

Tim Stark

Ironically perhaps, owes its existence to a period of profound creative doubt on Ciaran McAuley’s behalf. After years of forward momentum, the Irish artist found himself questioning not only his own direction, but his relationship with music itself. At that crossroads, rather than forcing (what now only had the appearance of) progress, he chose to […]
