What’s NEW for 2025

  • NEW Medium: Use of Music in Film, TV and Games – entries in this medium are for the creative use of music in any type of television show, film, video game, or other broadcast or streaming media. A NEW distinct jury will evaluate entries and determine accolades for this medium.
  • NEW Specialty award: Innovation in Music Video presented by YouTube. The award will be presented to a recipient using a groundbreaking technique, technology, or creative video formats in the execution of a music video. 
  • NEW Categories: Art Direction has been added to the Design Craft medium, Microsite has been added to the Digital/Mobile, AI and Emerging Technology medium, and Use of Artists, Talent, & Influencers has been added to the Fan Engagement medium. 
  • NEW Songwriter of the Year honors will be presented at our awards show joining our existing accolades for Label, Publisher, Agency/In-House Agency, Advertiser, and Artist of the Year honors.

The 2026 Clio Music Awards will be presented during Grammy Week in Los Angeles. Venue, host, and special guests TBA.
