Hollywood Records is set to release the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack for Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts, featuring music by Academy Award®-nominated composers Son Lux. The digital soundtrack will be available on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music. The film will premiere in U. S. theaters on May 2nd

Son Lux’s score combines orchestral experimentation with sonic manipulation, drawing inspiration from the film’s team of antiheroes. They collaborated with the London Contemporary Orchestra to enhance the music’s unique qualities. Son Lux expressed that this project represents a return to their roots while exploring new sonic possibilities. 

The film features a group of antiheroes, including Yelena Belova and Bucky Barnes, who must confront their pasts while facing a dangerous mission. Directed by Jake Schreier, Thunderbolts will be released on May 2, 2025.

Pre-order the Thunderbolts* Original Soundtrack on vinyl here. The limited edition 1-LP pressing on translucent yellow vinyl features 22 tracks and will be available this summer.
