Showtek, the Dutch duo of brothers Wouter and Sjoerd Janssen, is well-known in the music world for their energetic songs and performances. Starting as hardstyle producers, they gained fame with “FTS” and have since produced many successful tracks, including their hit “Bad” with David Guetta. Their collaborations show their ability to mix styles and reach a wide audience, making them leaders in the electronic dance music scene.

Nearly two decades after its release, Showtek‘s famous 2007 hardstyle anthem, “FTS” is making a big comeback. It was first played at Qlimax 2006 and became very popular for its energetic style and bold lyrics. As of 2025, the track is being played at festivals worldwide by a new generation of artists, including Charlotte De Witte, Reinier Zonneveld, and Armin van Buuren. Many top DJs are embracing “FTS,” highlighting its lasting appeal across different music genres.

What other artists are saying about “FTS“:

“‘FTS‘ is an all-time classic with a perfect combination of emotion and raw energy. Long time ago, I wanted to fit it in my sets, so I remixed it in my live sets. After a lot of trying out, I got to the version that I’m happy to call my take on ‘FTS‘! It works really, really well and has been a highlight in my sets for years.” – Reinier Zonneveld

“It’s simply one of those timeless iconic tracks that you can drop anywhere in your set. The mixture of a catchy vocal, combined with epic signature sounds, has made ‘FTS‘ a worldly anthem.” – Sub Zero Project

“We always aim to create something new and different when we sit down. The fact that it resonates with so many generations, cultures, and genres is a dream come true. When we created it, we wanted to tell a story about why we all gather every weekend together at festivals and events, to forget about our daily bs and the frustration we have to deal with as individuals and as a society as well. Dance music is created to unite and come together and be in harmony. That message has not changed and is still current. Life is hard enough sometimes, and to be able to release negative energy together is a unique experience that doesn’t age. That’s why dance music is still growing and so important.” – Showtek

Showtek has created a short video to share the track’s background and why it connects with a new generation of fans. The revival also includes Reinier Zonneveld’s remix, released on April 25, and more remixes are expected soon, including one from Sub Zero Project on May 30
